Exploring Sector 5 in Final Fantasy VII Remake presents players with several engaging odd jobs, including the quest to locate a missing child. "The Girl We're Looking For" side quest sends Cloud on a search through familiar slum streets to bring comfort to a worried family. Following daily gaming news updates can help RPG fans stay informed on optimal walkthroughs and hidden details across major game releases.

Starting The Quest in Sector 5 Slums

To begin this objective, Cloud must speak with the anxious father standing near the center of the Sector 5 Slums residential district. He explains that his daughter has wandered off toward the outskirts of the town area. Listening to his directions carefully provides your first clue regarding where the young girl might be hiding.

Before heading out, make sure your party is prepared for potential random encounters along the road. The path leading away from the main settlement often harbors minor monsters that can interrupt your search.

Locating the Missing Girl

Head toward the entrance of the public park area located near the outskirts of the Sector 5 Slums. You will spot the young girl standing near the fences, looking somewhat lost and hesitant to return home alone. Approaching her will trigger a dialogue interaction where Cloud encourages her to head back to her family.

She will express her appreciation and begin her journey back to the safety of the main residential zone. Once the dialogue scene finishes, your objective updates to reflect that she is returning home safe.

Reporting Back and Claiming Rewards

Return to the main town square and speak with the father once again to conclude the quest line. He will thank Cloud for his assistance and hand over your earned reward items for resolving the situation quickly. Completing this side job also contributes directly to unlocking additional merc tasks and special events later in the chapter.

Tips for Efficient Quest Completion

Utilizing the mini-map overlay makes tracking quest markers significantly easier while navigating the crowded alleys of Sector 5. If you struggle to locate the target area, open your main map to check the highlighted destination icons. Completing all available slum side quests before progressing the main storyline ensures you do not miss out on exclusive chapter achievements.
